Delightful Plumo

Feeling in a rather romantic mood at the moment I have fallen in love with these pretty accessories from Plumo, aren't they just gorgeous?? The last few weeks have been so hectic that I always find refuge and peace of mind when browsing through delightful pieces such as these.

There are plenty more on the website to browse and there is also a sale on which is an added bonus! Enjoy my lovelies :)

Philippe Starck

I have always admired Philippe Starcks' work, a quirky, flamboyant, surrealist, modern, expressive designer where his style is instantly recognisable.

Therefore today I was completely inspired when I came across projects that Philippe Starck designed in collaboration with Yoo, an international investment propety company, where he is the co-founder and creative director, launched in 1999.

I just love these interiors each being unique where you are transported into a world of their own. His signature style is not mistaken and his sense of modernism is mesmerizing. Enjoy these images and have a happy Monday.

Murano Restaurant

Has anyone been to the Murano restaurant owned by Gordon Ramsay? The other night a friend of mine mentioned it to me and was going on about the interiors of this place. Very curious, I went searching on the internet to discover what a gem it is indeed! I was literally blown away by the beautiful interiors, so art deco and fabulously sophisticated. I am loving everything about this especially those light fittings, how exquisite are they?

I cannot wait to head down there to check out the interiors in person. The thought of it is making me excited already. Hope you love these images as much as I do!

Have a lovely weekend my friends, it's a sunny one at this end :)

Cool Mood

Today I have been totally inspired by this beautiful mood board which I found in Elle Decoration Magazine, Isn't it lovely? With its gentle blues and greys it brings the magical colours of English summer to life. Cool and calming this board echoes nature with its textures and colours. I am loving it!!!

Unfortunately I never made it to the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan this year. I usually try and go every year, so was greatly disappointed to have missed it. However I have kept myself informed and up to date with all the latest trends that stole the show.

Looks like it didn't fail to impress this year with its stunning products on show. Here is a selection of the ones that caught my eye, I personally think they are pretty unique!

Exclusive DVF Home Collection

For all you fashionistas out there I am sure you remember that a couple of months ago I wrote a post giving the exciting news that Diane Von Furstenberg turned interior designer for the Claridges hotel, London. I cannot wait to see the unveiled look next week, I wonder what exciting interiors she has in store for us?!

Today's post is about her other exciting project. This multi tasking designer has also designed an exciting  range of Homeware accessories which arrive in January. The DVF Collection includes a line of tabletop, bedding and bath items done in collaboration with interiors manufacturer Springs Global. I am so excited to show you pictures of this exclusive collection. It really does not disappoint, January is still far away though.......

Is there anything this woman cannot do?

Cool Britannia

With football fever taking place I have decided to add a touch of patriotism to today's post. OK so I will admit that my actual first team choice is Italy as all my family are Italian. However as I was born in London and I have lived here all my life I do feel pretty British as well, therefore I will be giving my support to this beloved nation. Also the coach for England happens to be Italian, which is an added bonus ;)

Here are some interior shots flying the flag for Britain!

To show my support for good old Britannia I have come up with some cool essentials to liven up your interiors! There is nothing cooler than the union jack flag, don't you agree? Brit-chic has become one of the biggest trends in the design world, they are so kitch, personally I think they are great.

Well I am off to support my two beloved teams, lets just hope they won't meet any time soon because that would be a messy situation :)
